THE FOLLOWING REVIEW IS FOR THE INTEL MODEL NOT THE AMD MODEL OF THIS COMPUTER:
UPDATE MARCH 25: TOSHIBA HAS OFFERED AN UPDATE WHICH WILL ALLOW VIRTUAL PC TO RUN ON THIS COMPUTER. IT’S TOO LATE FOR ME AS I GAVE THIS COMPUTER TO MY DAUGHTER AND PURCHASED A USED LENOVO COMPUTER LAPTOP FROM AMAZON.
We bought this laptop so I could run my beloved Mastercook program to help me do grocery shopping. I also use this computer to run my Wild Ginger sewing pattern software.
I do like how easy it is to find files and other programs using Windows 7. As much as I loved Windows XP, the search function and ease of locating files, is so much better on Windows 7.
The mouse pad on this computer is a bit fast. I did manage to configure it to the slowest speed possible but it’s still mighty fast.
The computer is light in weight, uses the battery efficiently, the display is easy to read, and the computer seems to run cooler than my old HP laptop.

Just would like to say the new Toshiba Satellite L505-ES5015 with Windows7 is just awesome ! I wsn’t sure I would like a Wide Screen, but I love it and would never go back to a regular size screen. As far as how it works, it’s fast, has a great size keyboard and easier than I thought it would be to set up the way you want it. Love the built-in Web Cam. You can also see everything that is downloaded on your computer from the Start Menu ! I just love it and would buy another one if I ever needed it and would recomend it to everyone. IT comes jammed paced with a lot of extras already downloaded for you.

Esta laptop me ha venido a solucionar muchas necesidades de la universidad – que fue para lo que la compre. Un precio excelente para una laptop con tantas caracteristicas que otros modelos desearin: USD $ 575.00. Si no te importa un sonido impresionante en los parlantes (pero aun asi bueno), o estar conectado porque la bateria solo dura 2 1/2 hrs, entonces esta puede ser una excelente opcion para alguien que quiere algo bueno, rapido, funcional y con tecnologia de punta
This laptop has solved out many of my main needs in college – which is why I got it. A great price for such laptop with good performance features you would pay more in other models: USD $ 575.00. If you don’t mind about good speakers (good sound though), or being plugged-in because the battery only lasts 2 1/2 hrs, then this could be an excellent choice for someone looking for something good, fast working, functional and high-tech features

It’s a very good product for the price I paid. Totally satisfied with it. Delivery was on schedule. Great experience. Amazon.com is one of the best places to purchase and they got the best deals.
