I bought this battery and it does not work. THEY DO NOT EXCEPT BATTERIES ON THEIR RETURNS LIST. STAY AWAY

First, let’s consider the negative. This battery came wrapped in a plastic bag (as a new one would) but had no other packaging. I cannot be sure if it’s new, remanufactured, used, sat on, played with, sung to, or otherwise. Additionally, the battery capacity is closer to that of the standard battery’s claims — four hours on a full charge.
Now, let’s look at the positive. This battery is made available at a reasonable price point. It’s clearly labeled as an original HP battery and appears to be in physically new condition. While the capacity falls pretty significantly short of the full claim, it does work better than the factory provided battery’s 2 1/2 typical performance.
In the end, if you’re not so concerned about your battery possibly being serenaded before being shipped to you and the original packaging isn’t a big issue, this isn’t a bad buy. I’d actually consider purchasing another one for price and acceptable performance alone.

Everything I needed. The original battery was at the point of only holding a 10 minute charge. Now I could actually use my laptop on a plane.

I bought this batter in the market place for $60something. I bought it cause my pc started acting up and wouldn’t charge unless it was turned off for some reason. And when I did charge it and tried to use the battery that came wit my pc it died in less than 30mins. So after getting this battery and charging it up it last for more than 3hrs!!! Its amazing. I almost bought this battery on hp website but they tried to charge me twice the amount I would have paid on here. Buy it, it is def worth the money!
