It's got lots of cool, useful pockets just where you need them, including a collapsable water-bottle pocket on the outside, and a little ipod-sized pocket on the inside with a headphone out. The rear pocket has thick padding for your backside. The shoulder rest is clunky--but it's velcroed so you can take it off if it bugs you. I had mine for a couple of years, and though it's taken a beating, it held up very well--until my cat peed on it (cat owners beware--don't leave it flat on the floor...)
